Emergency Disaster Cell

The objective of this cell is to work for the rehabilitation of people affected by natural disasters or any other reason. The cell launched three flood relief campaigns and one relief campaign for the IDP’s of North Waziristan.

  • In September 2010 the cell distributed 508 food bags and clothing worth 18,12,763 rupees among flood affected families in Charsada, Kot Adhu, Jampur, D.G. Khan and Lahiya.
  • In September 2011 this cell distributed 410 food bags worth 7,50,966 rupees among flood affected families in District Matiari, Sindh.
  • Last year 940 food bags and clothing worth 22,98,779 rupees were distributed among flood affected families in Bhawana,  Garh More, Athara Hazaree, Kabirwala, Muradabad, Bhera and Muzaffargarh and Qadirabad.
  • Apart from flood relief campaigns the cell also initiated a relief campaign for IDP’s of North Waziristan. In this regard 110 relief packages worth 352,055 rupees were distributed among IDP’s of North Waziristan.
